Interest Shelf collects what it needs to run your account and published shelves. It does not sell personal data or track visitors across websites.

Account data
When you use GitHub or Google to sign in, we store the provider account identifier and the profile details needed for authentication. We also store the username, display name, bio, saved links, collections, and settings you create.
Published data
Public and Unlisted collections may be available through hosted pages, embeds, RSS, and JSON. Private collections are owner-only. Unlisted URLs are not shown on public profiles and are marked not to be indexed, but anyone with the URL can open them.
Analytics and operations
Optional collection analytics record aggregate daily views and outbound clicks. Operational logs may contain request identifiers and technical error details. Interest Shelf does not use cross-site advertising trackers.
Retention and control
You can make collections private or delete saved content in the product. Account deletion is handled through Support during beta; confirmed deleted data enters a 30-day recovery window before permanent maintenance cleanup.
